The EPM MUELLER ® Acetabular Reamer

is a new generation acetabular reamer which, contrary to traditional reamers offers unique standards of precision and accuracy.

The unique blades geometry :

-offers fast, smooth cutting with minimum chatter,

-prowides precision and accuracy,

-ensures an exact fit every time for maximum cup / tissue interface,

-offers self-centering cutting

-gives full visualization of the reaming process due to the central coupling with the adaptor.

-develop a small torque with the "smooth" 0,4mm geometry

EPM MUELLER®  Low Torque 0,2  and  Low Torque R Acetabular Reamer

Since 2000, when the first prototyp was ready, the cutting blades was changed several times untill 2003, when the first clinical trials started.

The clinical feed-back gave the oportunity to improve the geometry untill 2004 when the Reamer started their daily clinical use in Garmisch-Partenkirchen Germany and Sammelweiss Univ. in Budapst.                                                                      

The clinical experience helped us to create a smooth torque reamer version also and the new konical and minimal invasiv reamer .
